book: "Saturdays at 3"

A few years ago, I worked on a project taking a Polaroid picture every Saturday. After starting the series in April, I thought I should have started the project in January and made the collection from January to December. Little did I know my first grandchild would be born in January and I would be able to include her in my book that I called "Saturdays at 3."

The painterly images were my way of making my photography more artful. It allowed me to shoot recognizable scenes and objects and turn them into something that looks like a painting.
